Pour 24 Offers 24 Beers On-Tap
Pour 24, a bar with twenty-four beers on-tap is a solid place to go for beers on-tap along the Vegas Strip, even if you’re not sure that it’s a place that would have such a selection. While on my trip to Las Vegas last month, I went to Pour 24 as part of my quest to discover places along the Vegas Strip that offer a lot of beers on-tap. I thought it would be a bar tucked away in New York, New York; instead, it’s right up front before you even hit the casino – it’s right near the newly-opened Hershey’s store.
From the look of it, just walking by, I got the impression that it’s just a cocktails bar. No – it’s got 24 beers on tap (thus the name Pour 24)! It’s a great place for people watching, as it is located right where people are walking by and heading on their way to shopping and the casino.
As to the beers, they offer a flight of four for $14. I went in. I started off with Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA, which was fine. I then had a Great Basin Brewing Company Ichthyosaur IPA (aka Icky IPA), which struck me as a good sessionable IPA. I moved on to the Stone Arrogant Bastard, which was big-bodied (read: not easily sessionable). I finished off with the Green Flash West Coast IPA. Wow, that’s a lovely beer!
Pour 24 offers a nice selection of beers and is great for people watching and easy to reach, just inside New York, New York.
