Yard House Vegas & Tilted Kilt at the Linq Offer a Lot of Beer Options!
With over 150 beers on-tap, the new Yard House location in Las Vegas was an exciting destination for me to visit in the newly-opened The Linq. Having opened this spring, The Linq promenade has different restaurants, bars, and more. Since it features many beers, I had to visit it on my trip to Las Vegas last month.

The Yard House location in the Linq offers 153 beers on-tap!
However, on my way towards the new Yard House, I came across Tilted Kilt. Having never been in one, I asked the front desk, “How many beers do you have on-tap?” 24 was the answer. However, I was then – after a series of questions – invited by the manager(?) to enjoy a free pint on the house! If you say so, great! Perhaps I was given a free drink to generate more buzz for the newly-opened venue, as it had only been open for just five weeks! In any event, I went with the Ballast Point Sculpin IPA, having just enjoyed some at Public House. While inside, I was impressed with how many flatscreen TVs they had arrayed on the walls – they seem like a great place to watch a lot of sports!
Upon finishing my Sculpin IPA, I went to Yard House and I tremendously enjoyed the hospitality of the bartenders. Although my first one was decent, another took over and offered me very small sips of multiple IPAs (and double IPAs), which helped me settle on a delightful double IPA – Detour Double IPA by Uinta Brewing. – although I had been going for flights of beer on this trip, I did not particularly care for their flight of IPAs (I was in a really hoppy mood). They offer about a couple a dozen IPAs (and double IPAs).
I asked about their happy hours (about which I had seen somewhere online) and they said that they were still so new, they had not yet had any happy hours yet. In fact, they were set to begin on the following Monday, 3-6 every Monday-Friday.
The latter bartendress who served me, by the way, was incredible – she was pouring a bunch of brews and mixing up a storm of mixed drinks – she was awesome – she better get a raise! She told me that she had had seven years of experience and was really great!
I enjoyed my first-ever visit to the Linq, which is definitely one of the most beer-friendly places on the Vegas Strip!
