Tasting the Spa Retreat-inspired seasonal frozen yogurts at Yogurtland
The other day, I went to a local Yogurtland to try out two new seasonal flavors Yogurtland has out for another week and a half. According to a press release, “every two weeks beginning July 7 through Sept. 14, Yogurtland will introduce two flavors, spoons and their vacation inspirations” as part of their “Ultimate Summer” promotion. Further, according to the press release, “Yogurtland’s Ultimate Summer promotion features a delicious mix of dairy-free sorbets and frozen yogurt flavors that are inspired by popular cocktails and vacation treats. These sophisticated and fun ‘mocktails’ do not contain alcohol. For every vacation theme, there will be a shimmery new collectible spoon.”
The flavors currently available are Mango Peach Tea Sorbet and Mudslide, as part of their “Spa Retreat” theme, whose “flavors are indulgent and invigorating, and will be served with by a purple spoon.”
The spoon was certainly colorful and went nicely with the flavors. I found the Mango Peach Tea Sorbet, which, as the press release describes it, ” lets you soak in the soothing blend of real mango, peach and refreshing white tea” was light, and good for summer. I thought the peach and mango flavors were are good and subtle – a good subtle..
The Mudslide, which “blends real cocoa, coffee beans and one of the world’s most beloved chocolate cookies”, I found yummy, kind of like a chocolatey cookies and cream.
“Yogurtland’s Ultimate Summer promotion offers an oasis of flavors inspired by our fans’ favorite vacations including big city getaways, tropical escapes, outdoor adventures and spa retreats. Using the highest quality real ingredients, these flavors taste like the best vacation you’ve ever had, right in your cup,” said Charlotte Lucich, director of marketing at Yogurtland.
