Curiosity Concerning Cool-Looking Three-Wheeled Vehicles at Progressive International Motorcycle Show
At the recent Progressive International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, a casual observer would expect vehicles to be of the two-wheeled variety. However, one would be surprised to find additional wheels on the vehicles present. Amongst the vehicles there were three-wheeled curiosities, whether they had two wheels positioned in the front and one in the rear or vice versa, they certainly stood out.
Posted towards the front was Can-Am with Spyder F3 vehicles. These vehicles come with two wheels positioned at the front and one wheel at the rear. They seem like wide motorcycles, with an extra width up front. However, they also seem quite sturdy and safe. Also, I was particularly fascinated at all of the buttons and options located on the handlebars.
However, what was greatly eye-catching was Polaris’ Slingshot. Oh my!
This three-wheeled vehicle seems awfully like a regular sports car, just missing a back wheel, since it seats two passengers. However, it is really awesome-looking! Featured were four different looks to the vehicle, including one designed as if it were a WWII fighter plane.
I don’t know if these vehicles are actually classified as motorcycles since they have more than two wheels, but they seem like they would provide some interestingly distinct driving experiences; the Spyder F3 with a sturdy “motorcycle” experience and the Slingshot with a light, sporty vehicle with side-to-side passenger space.
If you are actually interested in purchasing either of these vehicles, you should expect to spend at least $20K.
