Orange County Jewish Publication Celebrates One Year
Coverage of the Israel rally last summer included embedded YouTube videos
This month marks a Southern California monthly Jewish magazine’s first anniversary. With the publication of its first issue last June, Kosher OC Magazine is celebrating its first anniversary this month, having brought a second monthly Jewish publication to Orange County.

While there has been a long-standing monthly print publication, Orange County Jewish Life, covering Orange County Jewish news, Kosher OC Magazine is a monthly online magazine, publishing on Issuu. With beautiful photography on full-bleed pages, Kosher OC Magazine contains a mix of local Orange County Jewish news, as well as national and international.
While the issues typically contain 40-50 pages – some have contained 38 while others have had 56 – they are an easily readable amount of pages. The contributors are local residents, including the former Editor of Orange County Jewish Life (now known as JLife), Ilene Schneider.
A tribute to Rabbi Haim Asa, a long-time rabbi in the area, who passed away
Along with the launching of Long Beach Jewish Life, Kosher OC Magazine was one of two online Jewish magazines covering local Jewish life south of Los Angeles. Kosher OC Magazine is on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
