Children 10 and Under Free Admission at this Year’s Long Beach Comic Con!
The upcoming Long Beach Comic Con, taking place in a month, will allow children 10 years and younger in for free! Taking place on September 12 and 13 at the Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach Comic Con will allow up to two children, ages 10 and under, per paying adult in for no admission fee. This is being done so that “fan moms and dads can bring their little ones and show them the stuff they love without stretching the budget or needing to find a babysitter,” according to a statement.
The statement also features various activities for children:
And we’ve got lots for kids to do! Our kids programming includes How-to Draw Comics, Cosplay DIY for kids and families and the Girl Scouts will be there too. You’ll have a hard time getting your kids out of our LEGO play area and they’ll be amazed by the cosplayers who bring their favorite heroes to life. They even can play Star Wars Laser Tag with a stormtrooper or get a picture with one.
There will also be many kid & young adult friendly comics and creators at the 2015 LBCC including My Little Pony artist Tony Fleecs and Hero Bear & the Kid creator Mike Kunkel in Artist Alley and Disney artist Amy Mebberson in our Animation Island.
Man of Action Entertainment, the creators of Ben 10 and Big Hero 6 will be there also and we even have a special appearance by How To Train Your Dragon 1,2 & 3 Writer & Director Dean DeBlois.
Tickets may be purchased here for the 2015 Long Beach Comic Con.
